Early last year, we added a message to the front page of modwest.com:
"New beginnings at Modwest: We're changing a few things for the better. Stay tuned..."
Maybe you've wondered what it was all about.
Well, we've been busy. Besides the company blog, upcoming office move, and a huge effort to deploy a
new storage system that will, among other things, lay the foundation
for a PHP upgrade, we've been working on another project for over two
years now. Very soon, the Modwest Feedback
Community will be unveiled.
It's been several years since we sent out a customer survey to learn
what we were doing well, what we needed to add, and what we needed to
fix. The results were helpful, but it was a lot of work to put
together, and represented just a moment
in time among a relatively small
sample of customers. What we needed was a better way to create
discussion and listen, on an
ongoing basis, so we could implement the things you're wanting most in a reasonable time frame.
We initially tried to set up a special
email address (feedback at modwest dot com) and
website form. But they were only sparsely used,
providing little droplets of feedback every so often, without the
response aggregation features of surveys, which are really needed to make sense of it all.
Now, we think we have the right tool for the job:
A Modwest customer
community dedicated to giving you a voice and
building conversations between all of us. We'll open up the Modwest Feedback Community on October 30th.
In the
next few days, we'll be inviting in a small number of
customers to participate
as part of a
"soft-launch". If you're interested in this sneak peek,
let us know by emailing feedback at modwest dot com and we'll add you
to the early-invite list.
Stay tuned -- we're (really) changing a few things for the better.
